What this notice covers
This notice explains how personal information submitted through the BRiX Dunsborough website is handled.
Information collected
The booking-request form may collect:
- your name;
- email address and mobile telephone number;
- requested check-in and checkout dates;
- the number of guests;
- how you heard about BRiX; and
- information you choose to include in your message.
Please do not send card numbers, identity documents, passport or driver’s licence details, dates of birth, sensitive medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information through the form.
How information is used
Information is used to assess availability, respond to the enquiry, prepare a quote, administer a confirmed reservation, communicate about the stay, resolve issues and meet legal or record-keeping obligations.
Netlify forms
Netlify receives and stores the form submission so BRiX can review and respond to the request. Netlify’s own terms and privacy practices also apply to its service.
Payments
The BRiX website does not collect card information. If a guest later chooses to pay through a Stripe-hosted invoice or Payment Link, Stripe receives and processes the payment information on its secure page under Stripe’s own privacy practices.
Sharing and sale
Personal information is not sold. Information may be shared with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate the website, process a later payment, administer a confirmed stay, comply with law or protect legitimate rights and safety.
Storage and security
Reasonable steps should be taken to protect personal information and retain it only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described above and applicable legal obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Access and correction
You may ask for access to personal information held about you or request correction of inaccurate information, subject to applicable law.
